Fortel has launched a five-year, fleet wide vehicle upgrade programme. The major investment in new, more fuel-efficient vehicles will significantly reduce the company’s carbon footprint. By improving our facilities for transporting our teams to site, it will also make sure they are fresh and fully briefed when they arrive for work.

Ian Smith, Fortel’s Head of Finance, explained that the fleet renewal was a structured investment in continued success. He said: ‘Our business has delivered sustainable growth based on first class client service with the unique feature of transporting pre-briefed teams of workers to site. This fleet renewal is a major programme focused on two key objectives: first, reducing our carbon footprint by using newer, more fuel efficient vehicles and, second, enhancing our facilities for transporting and briefing teams to build on the professionalism and productivity that have always set us apart.’
